Founded in 2006, U.S.-based SAK is an industry leader in sewer and pipeline rehabilitation, working closely with municipalities and industries nationwide to renew their deteriorating infrastructure. LOGISTEC and SAK worked together in the past on LOGISTEC’s first-generation Aqua-Pipe projects. This renewed relationship means that SAK will now install LOGISTEC’s exciting next generation of water technology, recently NSF 61 certified and proven to resist rupture during extreme seismic events.
“We are very pleased that the installation of our proven water technology is in the expert hands of SAK,” explained Madeleine Paquin, President of LOGISTEC. “Like LOGISTEC, SAK is customer-focused with attention to excellence in service delivery and a drive to provide innovative customized solutions to address their customers’ needs. Having been in the industry for over 40 years, the leaders at SAK have an extensive knowledge of the U.S. underground pipe network.”
LOGISTEC’s next generation of water technology is arriving to market just in time, with growing public pressure and tightening governmental health and safety regulations to address the issues of major water main breaks and lead service lines in municipalities across the USA. The technology also just underwent testing for resilience against extreme earthquake conditions and floods, where it exceeded expectations, at Cornell University’s Geotechnical Large-Scale Testing Facility.
“As certified field installers of LOGISTEC’s water technology, we are providing customers with one of the most proven and innovative solutions in the market,” said Jerry Shaw, CEO. “Our goal with LOGISTEC is to help municipalities and cities, both big and small, exceed the demands of their constituents who are looking for a cost-effective, safe, and long-lasting solution to their water main issues while causing the least amount of disruption to daily life.”
LOGISTEC and SAK are leading the way in the critical battle to address aging water main and lead pipe issues before they become emergencies. LOGISTEC’s proven water technology will save significant amounts of taxpayer money and provide communities across the USA peace of mind for years to come.
